How much do they weigh?
A single sneaker weighs roughly 1.25–1.7 lb (550–750 g), depending on the size.
How do I turn on the LED lights and charge them?
The LEDs use a rechargeable Neon Flex strip that charges over USB and runs for about 5 hours on a full charge.
The control button sits under the tongue, on the right or left side. It does three jobs: press to turn the lights on/off, press again to switch between lighting modes, and it houses the charging port. Plug the included USB cable into that same button to charge.
How do I care for them?
Wipe them clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not machine wash or soak them — water can damage the wheel mechanism and the electronics.
Riding & Stopping
How do I open and close the wheels?
The wheels deploy and retract with the button on the side of the sole.
To open (wheels out):
- Set the arrow on the switch to “Open”.
- Press the switch to push the wheels out.
- Turn the switch to the right to lock the wheels in place.
To close (wheels in):
- Keep the arrow on the switch pointing up to “Open” (same position as opening).
- Press the switch while pressing down with your heel or toe at the same time.
- Turn the switch to the right to lock.
How do I brake or stop?
Two easy techniques — the V-stop for slowing down, the T-stop for a full stop.
V-stop (to slow down): Widen your stance past shoulder-width, then gradually bring your feet back together while tensing your legs and leaning your body slightly forward. This bleeds off speed smoothly.
T-stop (to stop): Shift your weight onto your front leg. Move your other leg behind you and turn that foot perpendicular, forming a “T”. Press all four wheels of the back foot into the ground while keeping your weight forward — you’ll come to a controlled stop.
What surfaces can I ride on?
For the smoothest ride, stick to flat, paved ground, tiled areas, or wood floors — sidewalks and gym floors work great. Avoid gravel, grass, and wet or uneven surfaces, which can affect grip and control, especially while you're still learning.
The wheel mechanism feels stiff — is that normal?
Yes, this is common on a brand-new pair and it settles in quickly.
Some customers notice one shoe's mechanism is a little stiffer than the other right out of the box. This is normal — it usually loosens up after opening and closing the wheels a handful of times. If it's still stiff after that, or feels like it's catching, reach out to us and we'll help.
Specs & Safety
Is there a weight limit?
Yes — the maximum user weight is 220 lb (100 kg).
Can the button be locked?
Yes. Turning the switch to the left or right locks the button, so it stops responding to presses. This prevents the wheels from deploying by accident while you walk.
Shipping & Returns

- Canada: 2–6 business days
- United Kingdom: 4–8 business days

Full details in our Shipping Policy.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery country.
What's your return and exchange policy?
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your order is delivered. To qualify, your sneakers must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging.
When trying your sneakers for the first time (to check fit and comfort), please wear them indoors, on a clean floor only. If there’s any chance you’ll return or exchange them, don’t wear them outside — this keeps them free of dirt and scuffs. We can’t accept Liekick sneakers that have been worn outdoors, damaged, washed, or altered in any way.
We’re currently expanding direct exchanges to more regions. In the meantime, the fastest way to get a different size or style is to return your original order for a refund and place a new order for what you want.
Full details in our Refund Policy.
Do I have to pay for return shipping?
If the item is defective or we made an error with your order, we’ve got it covered — return shipping is on us. Otherwise, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.
