Liekick® | 2-in-1 Roller Shoes for Kids
Liekick kids' roller shoes are everyday sneakers with wheels hidden in the sole — comfy enough for school, fun enough to roll around the park all afternoon. One press of a button drops the wheels for rolling; another press tucks them away for normal walking.
Kids' roller shoes look like normal trainers but hide 4 small wheels in the sole. Press the button and the wheels lower for rolling; press again and they pull back in for walking. You may also see them called shoes with wheels, skate sneakers, or roller skate shoes.
The button is simple enough for a kid to flip modes on their own — no tools needed. Wheels hidden, it's a comfy sneaker for the classroom; wheels out, it's go-time in the playground or the park. All in one pair, nothing to carry.
On smooth, dry ground with pads and a helmet, yes — with an adult nearby for the younger ones. The wide wheel base gives beginners a steady footing, and since the wheels retract, it's easy to drop back to walking the second things feel wobbly. A flat, open space is the perfect spot to build confidence.
Loads of the kids' range lights up — rechargeable LEDs in the sole glow with every step and every roll. Beyond looking awesome, the lights help kids stay visible outdoors in the evening. The light-up models are marked in the grid above.
Measure the foot in centimetres and check it against our chart instead of guessing by usual size. For growing feet or an in-between measurement, size up for a little room to spare. A snug heel keeps the roll steady and comfy.
What age can kids wear roller shoes?
Liekick kids' roller shoes are made for children from 7 years and up. Choose by measuring the foot against our size chart.
Can kids walk normally in them?
Yes. With the wheels retracted the shoes feel like ordinary trainers, so they work for school and switch to rolling
only when your kid wants to.
What surfaces can kids roll on?
Smooth, dry surfaces like pavement, tiles, and wooden floors work best. Avoid wet ground, gravel, sand, and steep hills.
How do kids stop or slow down?
By shifting weight back and taking shorter glides. Beginners should practise controlled stops on flat ground before rolling faster.
How are Liekick roller shoes different from Heelys?
Heelys use one wheel in the heel; Liekick kids' roller shoes use 4 retractable wheels for a wider, steadier base, and the wheels tuck fully into the sole for walking.
Do they make a good gift for kids?
Definitely — the LED light-up styles and bright colours make them a favourite gift for birthdays and holidays.
